Cassy moaned on the ground, her motions were slow and painful. People weren't sure if she was out or trying to stand.
"Six... Seven... Eight..."
Nikki was sucking air as she stood in the corner. Her heart racing hard, she was just praying Cassy would stay down. She was having a hard time keeping track of the count herself. The fighter in white had learned not to underestimate Cassy
"Nine... Ten..."
Cassy was out. Nikki couldn't quite believe it. There was just a smattering of applause from the crowd as Nikki's gloved hand was raised. "The winner, by Knockout! Nikki!" Few could believe what Nikki had just down with her fists, least of all Nikki. Cassy was a beaten lump on the ground, Nikki wasn't sure how she should feel. As the blood trickled down her face, she did know how she felt about breaking down and knocking out her friend, she felt pride that she was the one still standing at the end.
